Plan Commission Meeting

Minutes

 

Chairman Wayne Redenius called the meeting to order.  Present: Wayne Redenius, Carl Redenius, Mike Cesar, Pam Paul, Martin Brunner.

 

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

 

Agenda - Motion to approve by Mike Cesar, Second by Martin Brunner, passed unanimously.

 

Minutes - Motion to approve by Pam Paul, Second by Mike Cesar, passed unanimously.

 

Public Comment - None.

 

Land Management Fees - County fees were reviewed, Chair noted they may increase in 2012.  Pam Paul submitted Town of Troy’s fees for comparison.  Discussion followed.  Martin Brunner Moved to suggest to the Town Board to increase zoning fees to be comparable with the County’s Hearing fees.  Second by Pam Paul, Passed 4-0, Chair abstaining.  Clerk asked for clarification - if asked for change to the Map or Comprehensive Plan, should the applicant submit rezone first?  Response was yes.  Pam Paul Moved to increase the Variance Fee from $50 to $450 to equal the County’s.  Second by Carl Redenius, passed 4-0, Chair abstaining.  

 

Land Division Ordinance - Commission members discussed samples from other municipalities and additional items Town of Richmond might want to include such as fees, procedures, etc. if the County ordinance is adopted.  Martin Brunner Moved to have the Chairman invite Neal Frauenfelder or another appropriate County staff member to the January meeting to discuss the County’s subdivision ordinance.  Second by Chair Redenius, passed unanimously.

 

Motion to adjourn by Martin Brunner, Second by Mike Cesar, passed unanimously.
